08:00, our tour guide and private car will pick you up right at your place and then we head to Ben Tre Province (around 90 km) Coming to Ben Tre, you will take a boat to explore Ham Luong River. The boat will cruise along the Ham Luong river (a branch of the Mekong) and stopover at various places to visit such as a brick works, a salt refinery, a coconut processing workshop and a mat weaving house. The boat will then stop at a quiet village where you can have a short walk to immerse yourself in the authentic Delta village life and take a bicycle ride through dense coconut plantations. You will have lunch at a local restaurant before taking a sampan along a narrow canal lined with mangrove trees then continue take the boat trip to get back to Ham Luong habor where you continue your trip to visit bustling market and streets with full of commercial activity provide a vibrant tableau for street photography. Overnight in Ben Tre.

After breakfast at hotel, we will head to the Khmer cultural heartland of Tra Vinh, where we have chance to visit some of the 141 Khmer temples practicing the Theravada branch of Buddhism – a wonderful opportunity to experience these serene, peaceful places and take photos of some wonderful portraits of the young monks in their saffron- colored robes. After lunch, we continue our trip through beautiful Khmer villages & stop at some old Khmer Temples to visit. Continue the trip to Cau Quan and take ferry to the small beautiful Island named “Cu Lao Dung”. On unpaved roads with tiny orchards along riverside, we can stop a while for break & taking photo then driving further 3 km to another ferry, Dai Ngai, Soc Trang province. Explore Soc Trang by night!

After breakfast, we will take a leisure drive to Can Tho. On the way, we have a great chance to visit Tiger island which located across from city of Long Xuyen. Upon our arrival, we will cycle around to explore the island. The locals here have preserved their traditional blue houses whose main rooms are open to the outside, visible through partition made of wooden bars. You have lunch with a local family before driving to Can Tho. Overnight in Can Tho.

In the early morning, we make the boat cruise to see the Cai Rang floating market (the nicest one with heaps of rowing boats), truly highlights of any Mekong Delta tours where you will enjoy the beautiful scenery and see the daily activities of the locals who live along the Mekong canals and later, you will roam through the village to visit a rice husking mill, rice noodles making shop which are nice chances to discover the daily life of Vietnamese people in Mekong Delta. Around noon, transfer back to Ho Chi Minh.
